Switching From Another System
If you already take bookings somewhere else, you do not have to retype your list. On Getting started, the setup assistant can read your current booking page, or take a spreadsheet export, and turn what it finds into drafts.
Nothing goes live on its own. Every item and every setting waits for you to tap Approve.
What You'll Learnโ
- How to bring your items across from your old booking page
- How to import a CSV export instead
- What a booking page cannot carry across, and what to do about it
Bring your items acrossโ
- Open Getting started.
- In the setup assistant, tap Import from my old system. You can also just say you use another booking system and the panel opens.
- Paste the link customers use to book with you today, then tap Read it.
- Wait a few seconds. The assistant reads the page and reports what it found.
- Tap Approve all to add everything, or Pick to go through them one at a time.
Your items arrive as drafts, so a price that looks wrong stays off your booking page until you fix it. Anything the page did not spell out gets a check the price note.
Use the page a customer would book on. That is often your own website, and sometimes the booking page your current system hosts for you.
Import a spreadsheet insteadโ
Some systems keep their list behind a login, so there is nothing for the assistant to read. Export it instead.
- In your current system, export your items or products to CSV. If it offers Excel, save the file as CSV first.
- In the import panel, tap Choose File and pick the export.
- Check each field points at the right column. The assistant matches what it recognizes; you fill in the rest. Only Name is required.
- Tap Read and the rows become drafts.
Up to 500 items per file. If your export is bigger, split it and upload the parts one after another.
Rows for the same item on different rates (adult, child, and so on) are read once. The first row becomes the item; the extra rates are counted and noted.
What a booking page cannot carryโ
No booking page publishes these, so they never come across on their own:
| What | What to do |
|---|---|
| Customers | Export them and load them under Customers, then Import |
| Upcoming bookings | Send us the export and our team enters them |
| Past payments | These stay with your old system and your payment provider |
| Gift cards and credit | Send us the balances and our team adds them |
Where to find the export in your current system:
- FareHarbor: open Reports, pick Bookings or Contacts, set the dates and choose Export CSV.
- Rezdy: open Bookings or Customers, then Export and save the file as CSV.
- Checkfront: open Booking Index or Customers, choose Export and save the file as CSV.
- Booqable: open Orders or Customers and choose Export at the top right.
- Bokun: open Bookings or Customers and choose Export to CSV.
- Peek Pro: open Reports, pick Bookings or Customers, then Export.
- Xola: open Reports, pick Bookings or Customers, then Download CSV.
Tap Send to our team in the import panel and we pick it up from there. It is free while you are on trial.
If the page cannot be readโ
Some booking pages keep their list behind a login, and some block anything that is not a browser. When that happens the assistant says so and offers you two ways on: drop a CSV export instead, or send it to our team.
