Add bookings to Joomla

Get your code​

  1. In EquipDash, go to Settings > Booking widget > Embed options.
  2. Pick what to show: Full widget embed (your whole booking page), Single product, a "Book now" button, or a Collection.
  3. Click Copy code.

To embed one item, you can also open it in EquipDash and use its Embed tab. See Embedding on your website for every option.

Paste it into Joomla​

  1. In Joomla, go to Content > Site Modules and click New.
  2. Choose Custom.
  3. Switch the editor to Toggle Editor (code view) and paste your code.
  4. Pick the Position and the Menu Assignment (the pages it shows on), then click Save & Close.

Some Joomla editors remove scripts when you save. If the code disappears, set your editor to None under Users > Manage > your user > Basic Settings while you add it.

A Book now button on every page​

Copy the "Book now" button code instead, and paste it where the same kind of Custom module goes, assigned to On all pages. It shows in the corner of every page and opens your bookings in a pop-up. See Floating Book now button.

Give the full booking page room

A Full widget embed scrolls inside its box, so make the box tall, at least 800px, or full screen. A Single product calendar sizes itself to fit.
