About Cybercycle
Cybercycle has been Mont-Tremblant's dedicated bike shop since 1999, when founders Ben and Philippe Poirier started out of a small basement workshop fuelled by a passion for racing and wrenching. What began as a high-end parts counter and mechanic service has grown into a full-scale bike boutique on Chemin du Village, stocking Trek, Norco, and Argon 18 frames alongside a complete inventory of components, apparel, and accessories. The shop sits just seconds from the P'tit Train du Nord trailhead, making it an ideal launching point for rides along the famous 234-kilometre linear corridor.
Winter is where Cybercycle truly stands apart: co-owner Philippe "Philou" Poirier manages the Mont-Tremblant fatbike trail network — nearly fifty kilometres of groomed routes stretching from the resort to the P'tit Train du Nord — and logs roughly 120 hours of trail maintenance between November and April. The shop rents fat bikes for exploring these snowy trails, giving visitors a unique way to experience the Laurentian forest when the roads are covered in snow. A health bar on the premises serves drinks and sandwiches, a rare perk that lets riders refuel without leaving the shop.
In summer, the fleet expands to include road bikes, mountain bikes, gravel rigs, and triathlon-specific Argon 18 models, all maintained by Shimano-certified mechanics in the on-site workshop. Cybercycle has earned a loyal following among both locals and vacationers — a reputation built on honest advice, competitive pricing, and the kind of deep community involvement that comes from actually building and maintaining the trails their customers ride. For anyone visiting Mont-Tremblant with two wheels in mind, Cybercycle is the shop the locals trust.
