Connecting Stripe
EquipDash uses Stripe to process online card payments securely. Connecting your Stripe account lets you accept payments through the booking widget, send payment links, and process refunds -- all from within EquipDash.
Before You Start
- You will need a Stripe account. If you do not have one, you can create one during the onboarding process.
- Stripe is available in many countries. Check Stripe's supported countries list to confirm availability in your region.
- You will need your business details (legal name, address, bank account) ready for the Stripe onboarding form.
Connecting Your Stripe Account
- Click Settings in the sidebar.
- Select Payments from the settings menu.
- Click the Connect with Stripe button.
- You will be redirected to Stripe's onboarding page. Complete the following steps:
- Sign in to your existing Stripe account, or create a new one.
- Fill in your business details (legal name, type of business, address).
- Add your bank account details for receiving payouts.
- Verify your identity if prompted.
- Once you finish, Stripe will redirect you back to EquipDash.
- You will see a confirmation message that your Stripe account is connected.

After Connecting
Once Stripe is connected, buttons shown include Open Stripe Dashboard, Refresh Status, and Disconnect.
- Online payments are enabled for your booking widget.
- You can send payment links to customers from any booking.
- Refunds can be processed directly from the booking detail page.
- Security deposit holds can be placed on customer cards.
Troubleshooting
| Issue | Solution |

| Stripe says my account is restricted | Complete any pending verification steps in your Stripe Dashboard |
| I was redirected back but it says "not connected" | Try clicking Connect with Stripe again. The onboarding may not have completed fully. |
| I want to connect a different Stripe account | Contact support to disconnect your current account first |
