About Dig Paddlesports
Dig Paddlesports is the on-water outfitter at Quail Creek State Park, operating from the water's edge at 472 North 5300 West in Hurricane, minutes from St. George. Founded by paddling enthusiasts Bill and Michelle Ennis, the company turned the warm, calm reservoir into Southern Utah's most accessible paddling destination, and also runs programs at nearby Sand Hollow and Gunlock state parks.
Rentals cover stand-up paddleboards, single and tandem kayaks, giant party SUPs, floating water carpets and even fat bikes for the shoreline, with life jackets included in every booking. The guided calendar is deep: two-hour, half-day and full-day eco tours, sunrise, sunset and moonlight paddles, kayak fishing trips, SUP yoga and Pilates classes, paddle technique clinics and kids summer camps. Signature community events include Concerts on the Water and a poker paddle.
What separates Dig is that it behaves like a paddling club as much as a rental counter — beginners get genuine instruction before pushing off, and the events calendar gives locals a reason to come back weekly. Warm water most of the year and red-cliff scenery make it an easy add to any St. George itinerary.
