About Banff Gondola
The Banff Gondola carries visitors to the top of Sulphur Mountain from its base at 100 Mountain Avenue in Banff. Pursuit runs it, and it is open all year.
At the summit, a 2 km boardwalk leads to Sanson's Peak and the Cosmic Ray Station, a National Historic Site of Canada. The summit building has an interpretive center and theater, a coffee shop, the Northern Lights Alpine Kitchen and Sky Bistro. Tickets are booked online, and children 5 and under ride free.
