About Captain Tom's Sportfishing
Captain Tom's Sportfishing is a veteran charter operation based at the Los Sueños Marina inside the Los Sueños Resort near Herradura and Jacó, on Costa Rica's renowned Central Pacific fishing grounds. Captain Tom established the first charter fishing business in the Herradura Bay–Jacó area and brings more than 33 years of local experience to every trip.
The fleet is headlined by "My Girls," a custom 43-foot convertible billed as the fastest boat in the Los Sueños fleet, alongside the "DreamWork" and access to additional vessels for large-group and corporate charters. Offshore expeditions target marlin, sailfish, mahi mahi and tuna, while inshore trips chase hard-fighting roosterfish. Half-day and full-day charters welcome anglers of all ages and skill levels, with family-friendly options available.
