About Falls Creek Ski Lifts
Falls Creek Ski Lifts is the resort operator behind one of Australia's premier alpine destinations, managing all lift infrastructure and on-mountain services at Falls Creek Alpine Resort in Victoria's High Country. With over 90 hectares of skiable terrain spread across 20 lifts, Falls Creek offers everything from gentle beginner slopes to challenging black-diamond runs, making it a favourite for skiers and snowboarders of all abilities. The resort sits at an elevation of 1,600 metres and typically enjoys a season running from June through September.
Their on-mountain rental centres offer a comprehensive fleet of ski and snowboard equipment, including performance demo skis, standard sport packages, and dedicated kids' gear. Snowboard packages, cross-country ski sets, and snowshoe kits are also available. Lessons are run through the resort's ski school, with group and private options for adults and children, as well as specialist programs like adaptive skiing and telemark clinics. Lift passes can be bundled with rental and lesson packages for convenience.
What sets Falls Creek apart from other Australian resorts is its ski-in, ski-out village — the only one of its kind in the country. Guests can walk between lodges, restaurants, and rental shops without ever touching a car. The resort's consistent snowmaking coverage and grooming program ensure reliable conditions throughout the season, and the night skiing program on select evenings adds an extra dimension that most Australian resorts lack.
