About Lake Sabrina Boat Landing
Lake Sabrina Boat Landing is the rental and launch operation on Lake Sabrina, a stunning reservoir tucked at the end of the Bishop Creek Canyon road southwest of Bishop. At roughly 9,000 feet and ringed by towering Sierra peaks, Sabrina is one of the most photographed alpine lakes in the Eastern Sierra, and the landing is the gateway for getting out on its water.
The landing rents kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, fishing boats and pontoon boats by the hour and the day, along with a small fleet suited to anglers chasing the lake's healthy population of rainbow, brown and brook trout. A lakeside cafe and tackle counter round out the experience, so visitors can grab gear, a fishing license and a bite before pushing off. The setting suits everyone from families paddling the calm shallows to serious trout anglers working the deeper water.
Operated in the same long tradition as the canyon's other historic landings, Lake Sabrina Boat Landing offers easy access to high-mountain paddling and fishing without any backcountry effort — just drive up, rent a boat, and spend the day surrounded by some of California's finest alpine scenery. It is a classic Eastern Sierra outing and a perfect complement to nearby trailheads.
