About Pacifico Adventures
Pacifico Adventures is a marine wildlife tour operator based at the fishermen's pier in Los Órganos, on the coast just south of Máncora. Focused on sustainable, small-group boat trips, the company gives visitors an intimate way to see some of the largest and most charismatic creatures in the tropical eastern Pacific.
Their flagship experience is humpback whale watching during the migration season from July to October, when the whales move north into the warm waters of Piura and Tumbes to breed. Trips run roughly two and a half hours from the Los Órganos pier and carry a very high sighting rate, with a free repeat tour offered on the rare occasion no whales appear. Year-round marine-observation outings also spot dolphins, sea turtles, sea lions and blue-footed boobies along the coastline toward Cabo Blanco, and a visit to the on-site Pacífico Museum and café rounds out the day.
What distinguishes Pacifico Adventures is its conservation-minded, education-first approach — guides share the marine biology of the region and the company backs local research. Comfortable boats, knowledgeable crews and a genuine sustainability ethic have made it one of the most respected whale-watching outfits on Peru's north coast.
