About The Hub Pisgah
The Hub is the beating heart of the Pisgah National Forest mountain biking community, located at the entrance to Pisgah in the small town of Pisgah Forest just south of Asheville. Since opening, it has served as the unofficial trailhead headquarters for riders hitting some of the most legendary singletrack in the eastern United States, including Bent Creek, Dupont State Forest, and the Pisgah Ranger District trails.
The Hub offers full-suspension and hardtail mountain bike rentals from top brands, perfectly set up for the rugged Pisgah terrain. They also stock a full range of parts, gear, and apparel, and their mechanics handle everything from quick trailside fixes to full overhauls. For riders new to the area, staff provide detailed trail beta — which loops to ride, current conditions, and skill-appropriate recommendations.
What makes The Hub special is its role as a community gathering spot. Riders congregate on the porch after rides, swapping stories over coffee and snacks from the on-site café. Weekly group rides, demo days, and trail work events keep the local scene vibrant. If you're visiting Asheville to mountain bike, The Hub is your first and last stop.
