About The Ski Co.

The Ski Co. Snowboard and Ski Hire is in Cooma at 32 Bradley Street, next to McDonald's; walk through from the McDonald's car park.

The shop hires skis in four grades plus women's and twin tips, snowboards in two grades, clothing that is laundered after every use, walk boots, toboggans, Zipflracers, snowshoes, helmets and wrist guards. It also hires hoop, diamond and low-clearance snow chains, and staff demonstrate the chains and check them on your car before you head up. Soft racks and V-Racks come free with hire, and the shop tunes gear too.

In peak season the shop opens seven days from 6am until late, to midnight on Thursday and 2am on Friday. Gear can be booked online. The Ski Co. has closed for 2026 and reopens for the 2027 season.
