About Treble Cone

Treble Cone is 30 km west of Wanaka along the Wanaka-Mount Aspiring Road, with 7.5 km of unsealed access road to the base. It shares an owner, a pass system and a rental fleet with Cardrona.

The resort claims the South Island's biggest vertical at 700 m, with Home Basin, the Saddle Basin and the Matukituki Basin, and a learners' area in Home Basin served by a platter. Rentals can be picked up at the base building or at the Wanaka store on Cardrona Valley Road.

A free shuttle runs from the carpark at the bottom of the access road, and the Wanaka Ski Bus leaves town at 8.30am. Treble Cone has no summer operation.
