Afishinados Charters is a family-run fishing and touring operation based at 205 Crescent Avenue in Avalon, right on the waterfront side of the historic Metropole Hotel. Captain-operated since its founding, the business combines deep-sea and coastal fishing charters with scenic harbour cruises and sunset excursions, offering a versatile on-the-water experience that appeals to anglers and sightseers alike. The boat departs directly from Avalon Harbor, so there's no shuttle or transfer — just walk down Crescent Ave and step aboard.
Fishing charters target the productive near-shore reefs and open-water zones around Catalina Island, where calico bass, yellowtail, white seabass, barracuda, and bonito are all regular catches depending on the season. The captain provides all tackle, bait, and instruction, making the trips accessible to complete beginners as well as experienced anglers.
