Alpine Shop is a Sandpoint institution, a full-service ski, snowboard, and bike shop that has outfitted North Idaho adventurers since 1966. Anchored in the heart of downtown on Church Street with a second store up in the village at Schweitzer Mountain Resort, the shop pairs deep local roots with a modern rental and retail fleet that turns over every season.
In winter, the team rents high-performance and recreational ski and snowboard packages, including powder-specific gear for Schweitzer's famous tree runs, and offers expert custom boot fitting that draws a loyal following. When the snow melts, the focus shifts to mountain bikes — their techs personally size and set up each rental — along with helmets and watersports gear for days on the lake. Demo and performance equipment is available alongside everyday rental kit for all ages and abilities.
