Their fleet features glass-bottom boats with the largest viewing panels in Tobermory, complete with an upper open-air deck and a lower enclosed cabin, so guests can watch the shipwrecks of Big Tub Harbour slide past beneath their feet before continuing to Flowerpot Island. For a higher-energy option, Blue Heron also runs an open-air jet boat tour to the island. Once ashore, visitors can disembark to walk the island's 4.3 kilometres of marked trails, see the famous flowerpot rock pillars and explore the historic light stations before catching a later boat back.
