About Blue Mountain Resort
Blue Mountain Resort is Ontario's largest mountain village and the anchor of the Collingwood adventure scene, drawing millions of visitors a year to its ski hills, pedestrian village, and four-season activity calendar. Perched on the Niagara Escarpment above Georgian Bay, it is the region's premier destination for skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, and family adventure.
In winter the resort operates a full ski and snowboard rental fleet, lessons through its snow school, night skiing, tubing, and an extensive terrain park. When the snow melts it transforms into a summer playground with lift-served mountain biking, the Ridge Runner mountain coaster, the Plunge waterpark, an aerial ropes course, mini-golf, and scenic open-air gondola rides. Rental equipment, guided experiences, and instruction are available on-site for nearly every activity, so guests can arrive empty-handed and still fill a full day.
Beyond the slopes, the base village packs restaurants, shops, and events into a walkable pedestrian core, making Blue Mountain as much a resort getaway as an adventure hub. Its scale, variety, and reliable snowmaking have made it the centrepiece around which Collingwood's outdoor tourism economy revolves.
