About Scenic Caves Nature Adventures
Scenic Caves Nature Adventures sits high on the Niagara Escarpment above Blue Mountain, within one of Canada's UNESCO biosphere reserves, on land whose ancient limestone caves and crevices date back some 450 million years. It is the Collingwood area's standout eco-adventure attraction, combining natural wonders with a full slate of aerial thrills.
Visitors can explore a network of caves and caverns, cross the longest suspension footbridge in Southern Ontario — 420 feet spanning a dramatic gorge with panoramic views over 10,000 square kilometres of countryside and Georgian Bay — and take on the Thunderbird Twin Zip Line, one of the longest zip spans in the province. A treetop canopy walk, guided eco-adventure tours, hiking trails, and gemstone panning round out the summer experience, while winter brings snowshoeing and cross-country skiing across the same escarpment terrain.
The property is designed for a half-day or full-day outing, welcoming families, school groups, and adrenaline seekers alike. With its blend of geology, wildlife, big-view scenery, and zip-line adventure, Scenic Caves offers an experience found nowhere else in the region and has become a signature Blue Mountain-area destination.
