About Celebration Cruises
Celebration Cruises operates the Lake of the Ozarks' signature sightseeing boat from the Bagnell Dam Strip in Lake Ozark, running narrated public cruises that unpack the history of the dam, the lake's creation in 1931, and the landmark coves and mansions along the main channel. Daily noon and evening departures each run about ninety minutes, with optional lunch and dinner service on board.
The seasonal calendar goes well beyond the standard loop. Summer fireworks cruises put guests on the water for the lake's biggest displays, the adults-only Lake Bar Hopper excursion strings together waterfront bars over six hours, and late-season traditions include the Christmas on the Lake charity cruise and a New Year's Eve celebration sailing. The company also runs the Lake Hopper water shuttle and a second cruise operation at Margaritaville Resort in Osage Beach.
Private charters are a core part of the business, with the Celebration boat hosting weddings, corporate gatherings, birthday parties, and family reunions for groups that want the lake as their venue. For visitors who would rather be shown the Lake of the Ozarks than pilot it themselves — or who want a floating event space with a crew — Celebration Cruises is the established name at the dam end of the lake.
