About Cornish Coasteering
Cornish Coasteering is a specialist coasteering provider based at Dinham Farm near St Minver on Cornwall's north coast. Established in 2014, they are part of the Cornish Adventure family and focus exclusively on delivering high-quality coasteering sessions at two of North Cornwall's most spectacular coastal locations — Port Quin and Port Gaverne.
Sessions involve cliff jumping, sea cave exploration, scrambling over rocks, wild swimming and navigating wave-washed gullies under the supervision of qualified guides. They plan sessions around tidal conditions to maximise safety and fun, using Port Quin's sheltered natural harbour when the Atlantic swell is lively, or the more exposed Port Gaverne when conditions are calmer. Groups typically spend two to three hours in the water. All wetsuits, buoyancy aids and helmets are provided.
What sets Cornish Coasteering apart from the many operators in Newquay is the stunning, uncrowded North Cornwall locations. Port Quin and Port Gaverne offer dramatic sea cliffs without the crowds of the tourist hubs. Their Dinham Farm base has free parking and changing facilities, and the minibus transfer to the coast means participants get to explore otherwise hard-to-reach stretches of shoreline.
