About Da Nang Outdoor Adventures
Da Nang Outdoor Adventures is one of the original surf schools in Da Nang, established in 2017 just a short walk from the golden sands of My Khe Beach in the An Thuong tourist quarter. The team built its reputation teaching first-timers how to catch their opening wave on Central Vietnam's most consistent beach break, and has since grown into a full watersports hub for the city.
The shop runs surf lessons for every level — group sessions, private one-on-one coaching, and dedicated kids' and beginner classes — alongside kayaking and snorkelling outings along the Son Tra coastline. Their rental fleet is open 365 days a year and spans beginner soft-tops and foamies through to shortboards and epoxy longboards, with rash vests, leashes and accessories all available. A small retail corner stocks surf apparel and protective gear for anyone who forgot theirs at home.
What makes the operation stand out is its walk-in-and-surf convenience and its English-speaking instructors who genuinely know the local conditions, tides and swell windows. Because it sits under five minutes from the water, guests can grab a board, get a quick safety briefing and be in the lineup within minutes — a rare thing on a beach where most operators are seasonal pop-ups.
