Their position at the cable car base means guests can gear up and ride straight onto the slopes without carrying equipment through Zermatt's village streets, a significant convenience in a car-free resort where every metre of walking with ski gear counts.
Their winter rental fleet includes ski and snowboard packages across multiple performance categories, plus touring setups for backcountry excursions, snowshoes, sleds, helmets, and full clothing hire. Equipment is maintained by their on-site service workshop, and the team provides proper boot fitting to ensure comfort across a full day at altitude. In summer, the shop transitions to climbing gear, hiking equipment, and outdoor accessories for visitors exploring the high-alpine trails around the Matterhorn.
A standout feature is their free ski depot with heated boot storage located on the upper floor of the shop, right beside the cable car station. Guests can drop off rental skis and boots at the end of the day, and everything is dried and warmed overnight for the next morning's first lifts. The depot operates on a self-service basis during shop hours, so there is no waiting around for staff to retrieve your gear.
