About Fox Peak Ski Area

Fox Peak is a club ski field on the Two Thumb Range, run by the Fox Peak Ski Club and reached from Fairlie by Clayton Road past Lake Opuha.

It runs four rope tows and a platter, sells day passes and touring passes, and has Fox Lodge, with 40 bunks open on Friday and Saturday nights in season. There is no hire or ski school on the hill; the club sends renters to the Ski Shack in Fairlie.
