About Lake Mountain Alpine Resort

Lake Mountain Alpine Resort is a cross-country ski and snow play resort at 1071 Lake Mountain Road, about 21 km above Marysville. It has no chairlifts, and snowboarding is not allowed.

Its groomed trails run from easy loops such as Echo Flat to the advanced Jubilee trail, and it has three ticketed toboggan runs, the Mini Run, Village Run and Koala Creek Run. The resort sells car entry and toboggan tickets online and rents jackets, pants, kids snow suits and snow boots. Skis and snowshoes are hired in Marysville or Narbethong.

In summer, entry is free and the mountain bike trails open from the start of November, including the Cascades Trail down to town.
