Magic Whitsundays is a locally owned, family-run tour company that has been operating in Airlie Beach and the Whitsunday Islands for over 20 years. Their flagship vessel is Big Fury, a purpose-built open-air sports boat powered by triple 300-horsepower outboards that gets passengers to Whitehaven Beach and the outer islands faster than most other day boats in the fleet.
The Big Fury day tour departs Coral Sea Marina each morning and packs in visits to Whitehaven Beach, the Hill Inlet lookout, and a dedicated snorkelling stop at a sheltered reef. The open-air design gives unobstructed views in every direction, and the speed means more time at destinations and less time in transit. They also operate overnight sailing trips on separate vessels for travellers wanting a multi-day Whitsundays experience with island camping or cabin accommodation.
Two decades of local knowledge means the crew know exactly which beaches are sheltered on any given wind direction and which snorkel sites have the best visibility that day.
