About Nayaka Surf School and Camp
Nayaka Surf School and Camp is a licensed surf school based in the Senggigi area of Lombok, running lessons and multi-day surf camps for visitors chasing the island's warm, uncrowded waves. Built around a small team of local coaches, the school has grown into one of the region's go-to operators for structured surf coaching combined with island day trips.
The team teaches every level, from first-timers to advanced surfers refining their turns, with private one-on-one sessions, semi-private and small group lessons, and dedicated kids' classes for ages 4 to 12. Surf trips run to Gerupuk and other south-coast breaks, and 3-to-7-day surf camps bundle daily coaching with accommodation. Drone and camera video analysis, boat transport to reef breaks, and longer West Sumbawa surf journeys round out the program. Beyond surfing, they arrange Gili Islands snorkelling, ATV rides, river tubing, waterfall visits and Mount Rinjani treks.
What sets Nayaka apart is its community focus: the company donates a share of its revenue to orphan education and the Lombok Camari Dog Shelter, and staffs its trips with local Sasak coaches.
