About Over the Edge Sports
Over the Edge Sports is the anchor bike shop of Fruita, Colorado, sitting right on the corner of the historic downtown at 202 E Aspen Avenue. It helped put Fruita on the map as a mountain biking destination and has been the first stop for riders heading out to the Kokopelli, 18 Road and Lunch Loops trail systems for decades. The shop is part of the wider Over the Edge family with sister locations in Hurricane, Sedona and beyond, but the Fruita store remains the heart of the local riding scene.
The shop runs one of the best rental fleets in the region, with modern full-suspension mountain bikes, hardtails, e-bikes and kids bikes, all professionally maintained and set up for the local terrain. Rentals come complete with a helmet, and the crew can add a car rack so you can drive straight to the trailhead. Beyond rentals, they offer full service and repair, a well-stocked retail floor, and the kind of trail beta that only comes from riding these trails year-round.
