About Pacific Surf Co
Pacific Surf Co — formerly Pacific Surf School — has been teaching visitors and locals to ride Vancouver Island waves since 1998, making it one of Tofino's original surf outfitters. Located at 441 Campbell Street in the heart of town, they run year-round group, family, and private surf and SUP lessons with all necessary gear included.
Lessons maintain a 5:1 student-to-instructor ratio, and instructors handle all equipment transport to the beach so guests just show up and paddle out. Beyond lessons, Pacific Surf Co rents surfboards, stand-up paddleboards, and wetsuits at competitive daily rates, with roof racks included on every board rental so you can drive straight to your favourite break. They also stock a curated selection of West Coast surf apparel and accessories in their Campbell Street shop.
