Pico Mountain is an independent ski area located just minutes from Killington on Route 4, offering a classic New England skiing and riding experience with more vertical drop than 80 percent of resorts in the region. With 58 trails served by seven lifts across 468 skiable acres, Pico has carved out a loyal following among families and intermediate skiers who prefer shorter lift lines, a relaxed atmosphere, and genuinely friendly staff over the mega-resort experience next door.

The Adventure Center operates from late May through early November, making Pico a genuine four-season destination for families visiting central Vermont.
