About Poseidon Diving Center Corfu
Poseidon Diving Center is a scuba diving school based in the sheltered bay of Ermones on the west coast of Corfu, where clear water, healthy marine life and dramatic rock formations make for reliable year-round diving. Run by owner George Pappas, a diver with extensive commercial and recreational credentials, the centre welcomes complete first-timers as well as certified divers looking to log dives in the Ionian Sea.
The programme runs the full training ladder, from a taster Discover Scuba Diving session through the Open Water Diver certification and on to Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver and Divemaster levels. Alongside courses the team leads guided fun dives to local reefs, caves and rock walls, plus relaxed snorkelling trips for families and non-divers who still want to see what lies beneath the surface.
What sets Poseidon apart is its multi-agency backing and technical depth: the centre is affiliated with SSI, ANDI, IDSA and IMCA, reflecting a commercial-diving pedigree that few holiday dive shops can match. Small group sizes and a hands-on owner mean instruction is personal and safety-led, whether you are nervous on your first breath underwater or chasing a professional qualification.
