About Redfish Lake Lodge
Redfish Lake Lodge is an iconic lakeside destination in Stanley, Idaho, offering boat and watercraft rentals on one of the most photographed alpine lakes in the American West. Surrounded by the jagged peaks of the Sawtooth Range and nestled at over 6,500 feet elevation, Redfish Lake is a stunning natural playground about an hour north of Sun Valley via the scenic Galena Summit highway.
The lodge's full-service marina rents a wide range of watercraft including 10- and 14-passenger pontoon boats, 15 HP and 60 HP motorboats, single and double kayaks, canoes, and stand-up paddleboards. Rental periods range from one hour to full-day, making it easy to tailor time on the water to any schedule. The marina also runs a hiker shuttle to the Redfish Inlet Trailhead — the gateway to some of the best backcountry hiking in Idaho — and offers sunset cruises aboard a beautifully restored 1947 Chris Craft wooden boat, complete with charcuterie and sparkling wine for groups of up to five.
Redfish Lake Lodge has been a cornerstone of the Stanley Basin for decades, drawing families, anglers, hikers, and paddlers who want to experience Idaho's alpine lake country without roughing it. The combination of comfortable lodge accommodation, a sandy beach, and a full marina makes it one of the few places where visitors can paddle, fish, hike, and relax all in one stop.
