Ride & Paddle, run by Siesta Sports Rentals, has been outfitting Siesta Key and Sarasota beach days since 1995, making it one of the longest-running rental operations in the area. From its shop at 6551 Midnight Pass Road on the south end of the Key, the company rents just about everything a visitor needs for a day outdoors: beach cruisers, electric bikes, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, scooters, beach chairs, umbrellas, and even beach wheelchairs.
The business model is built around convenience. Free delivery and pickup on Siesta Key means vacationers can have bikes waiting at their rental house and kayaks dropped at the launch, skipping the shop entirely. Hourly, daily, and weekly rates cover everything from a quick cruise to the village to a full week of gear for a family reunion.
Paddlers can put in near Turtle Beach and work the mangrove edges of Little Sarasota Bay, while cyclists have the length of Midnight Pass Road and the Key's low-traffic neighborhoods to explore.
