About Safari Par Excellence (SAFPAR)
Safari Par Excellence, known across the region as SAFPAR, is one of the longest-running adventure operators on the Zambian side of Victoria Falls, running trips out of Livingstone since the late 1980s. The company built its name on white water rafting through the Batoka Gorge, where the Zambezi throws up some of the most consistent grade five rapids on any commercially run river in the world.
Beyond the rafting, SAFPAR packages a full spread of Livingstone adventures: sunset and dinner cruises on the upper Zambezi, guided game drives into Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, river boarding, and multi-day gorge expeditions for those who want more than a single day on the water. Trips are graded by season, with the biggest whitewater falling in the low-water months.
