About Shearwater Bungee
Shearwater Bungee operates the cluster of high-adrenaline activities on the Victoria Falls Bridge, the historic span that crosses the Batoka Gorge between Zambia and Zimbabwe just downstream of the Falls. The centrepiece is the 111-metre bungee jump off the middle of the bridge, a plunge toward the Zambezi that remains one of the most famous jumps in the world.
Alongside the bungee, the operator runs a bridge swing that launches jumpers sideways into a sweeping free-fall arc across the gorge, and a bridge slide zipline that carries riders over the river between the two countries. Guided tours of the bridge itself, a visitor centre and a café round out a half-day of options for visitors who want to combine spectacle with adventure.
Because the activities sit on the international bridge a short distance from Livingstone town, they draw travellers staying on the Zambian side who want the signature gorge experiences within easy reach. Combo packages bundle the jump, swing and slide together for those determined to tick off every way down into the Batoka Gorge.
