About Seawalker Bali
Seawalker Bali operates from the beachfront of the Grand Mirage Resort on Jalan Pratama in Tanjung Benoa, offering a unique underwater walking experience that requires no diving certification, no swimming ability, and no prior experience. Guests don a specially designed weighted helmet that supplies surface air, then walk along the sandy seabed at a depth of about four to six metres surrounded by tropical reef fish.
The experience lasts roughly 30 minutes underwater, with trained dive staff accompanying each small group to ensure safety and point out marine life. Guests can hand-feed bread to schools of colourful fish, interact with sea turtles in the turtle release programme, and even arrange underwater events like anniversary celebrations or marriage proposals on the ocean floor. An underwater photographer captures the whole experience, with photos and video available for purchase afterward.
Seawalker Bali has been running since the early days of Tanjung Benoa's watersports boom and remains one of the most popular non-diving underwater experiences on the island. The helmet system keeps hair dry and allows glasses-wearers to see clearly — removing the two biggest barriers that stop people from trying scuba. It is a genuine bucket-list experience that works for all ages from children to grandparents.
