About Shepherd of the Hills Adventure Park
Shepherd of the Hills is a historic homestead turned family adventure park on West 76 Country Boulevard, best known for its long-running outdoor drama but packed with outdoor activities that run all day. The property's adventure lineup centers on the Vigilante ZipRider, a 170-foot-tall zipline that launches from the top of Inspiration Tower and sends riders on a half-mile flight over the valley at highway speeds.
Beyond the big zip, the park runs guided ATV and off-road adventures through the wooded hills of the old homestead, horseback trail rides across the historic grounds, and a canopy zipline course through the trees. Inspiration Tower itself offers observation-deck views across the Ozarks, and seasonal events, trail rides, and the evening drama keep the schedule full from spring through the holiday season.
Because everything operates from one campus a few minutes west of the strip, Shepherd of the Hills works as a one-stop outdoor day for mixed groups — grandparents can ride the tower elevator while the teenagers line up for the ZipRider and the rest of the family saddles up. It remains one of Branson's most recognizable names for good reason.
