About Silver River Stargazing
Silver River Stargazing runs tours on Mt Hay Station farmland near Lake Tekapo, with pickup points in town. It is part of Go Tekapo, the group of businesses run by the family that has farmed Mt Hay Station since 1928.
Tours run from 75 minutes with 14-inch telescopes to 120 minutes with 16-inch scopes. The Astronomer's Experience uses an 18-inch telescope, a 180-minute astrophotography session is also offered, and it runs a Mount Cook tour.
