About Thunderbird Park
Thunderbird Park is a multi-activity adventure destination nestled on Tamborine Mountain in the Gold Coast hinterland. Home to the famous TreeTop Challenge — Australia's largest high ropes adventure park — and the Canyon Flyer zipline canopy tour, Thunderbird Park draws thrill-seekers, families, and school groups from across southeast Queensland for a full day of outdoor adventure.
The TreeTop Challenge features more than 140 challenges across courses ranging from easy to extreme, including 13 massive flying foxes soaring up to 60 metres above the rainforest floor. The Canyon Flyer zipline tour takes guests on eight lines covering 1.5 kilometres through the Cedar Creek Canyon canopy. Beyond the adrenaline, the park offers laser skirmish, mini golf, thunderegg fossicking, a mini-excavator park, bushwalking trails, and daily bird-feeding sessions in a natural bushland setting.
Thunderbird Park also operates a camping and accommodation precinct, making it ideal for overnight adventure getaways. Their combination of high-octane activities and family-friendly attractions — all set against the backdrop of Tamborine Mountain's subtropical rainforest — makes them one of the most complete adventure parks on the Gold Coast.
