About Tribu Surf Nicaragua
Tribu Surf is a long-running surf school and board shop located in the heart of San Juan del Sur, a short walk from the bay. It has built a loyal following among backpackers and holidaymakers for its friendly instructors and its focus on getting complete beginners standing up and surfing safely in a single session.
Lessons run roughly three to four hours in total, including transport to the beginner-friendly beaches north of town, all equipment, and hands-on coaching in the water. Alongside instruction, Tribu rents a full quiver of soft-tops and hard boards by the day or week, and the in-town location makes it easy to grab a board, check the forecast, and organise a beach shuttle on short notice.
