About Waterhoppers Diving School
Waterhoppers is one of the longest-running scuba operations on Rhodes, a PADI 5 Star IDC centre that has been introducing visitors to the Aegean underwater world since 1990. From its main base in Rhodes Town it runs satellite dive centres in Kolymbia to the north and Pefkos in the south, giving it access to a wide spread of reefs, swim-throughs and sheltered bays across the island.
The centre caters to every level of diver. Complete beginners can try a supervised first dive, while those wanting certification can work through the full PADI pathway from Scuba Diver and Open Water up to Advanced, Rescue and DiveMaster, alongside a range of specialty courses. Certified divers join daily guided outings, and there are snorkelling trips and private luxury cruises for non-divers or mixed groups.
What sets Waterhoppers apart is its scale and continuity. Multiple bases mean conditions can be matched to the wind and the group, and decades of local operation have built a deep knowledge of the best sites in any weather. An on-site equipment shop and experienced multilingual instructors round out an offering built for repeat visitors and first-timers alike.
