Wings & Water operates Fiordland's only seaplane, flying scenic floatplane trips from the Te Anau lakefront at 65 Lakefront Drive. As a CAA-approved air charter business, the company combines fixed-wing scenic flights with the rare experience of water landings on remote alpine lakes and fiords across the national park.
Its flight menu ranges from short 15-to-20-minute Lakes Explorer hops over Te Anau and Manapouri to the best-selling 40-minute Doubtful Sound flight, a one-hour Milford Sound flight tracing the Milford Track past Sutherland Falls, and an epic Dusky & Doubtful Sound trip over more than 350 islands and hidden inlets. A signature Mystery Flight includes a water landing so passengers can step out and take in the scale of the wilderness, while combo packages such as Fly 'n' Jet and Cruise & Fly pair the seaplane with jet boating and Doubtful Sound cruising.
