About BonaOna Surf School
BonaOna is a surf school and beachfront bar in Can Pastilla, perched on the shore of Playa de Palma bay with views stretching across to Palma's cathedral skyline. Operating since 2011, they have grown from a small surf shack into one of Mallorca's most popular watersports schools, drawing a loyal mix of locals, expats, and tourists who return season after season for the relaxed vibe and quality instruction.
Their programme covers surf lessons, stand-up paddleboard courses, windsurf tuition, and SUP yoga sessions, with gear available for hourly and daily rental. The SUP fleet includes race boards, surf SUPs, inflatable touring boards, and children's boards, while the surf school runs courses from beginner through to intermediate level. BonaOna also offers sea cave kayak tours along the Calvia coast and combined SUP-snorkelling excursions to the Islas Malgrats marine reserve.
The beachfront bar doubles as a social hub, serving smoothies and Mediterranean lunches between sessions. It is this blend of quality instruction, diverse watersports, and laid-back atmosphere that keeps BonaOna busy from April through October.
