About Cardrona Alpine Resort

Cardrona Alpine Resort is 35 km from Wanaka up the Cardrona Valley, at the top of a 14 km unsealed access road. It runs as one business with Treble Cone, with one pass system and one rental fleet, and its town store is at 50 Cardrona Valley Road, Wanaka.

The mountain has 615 hectares across five basins, six chairlifts including the Soho Express that opened in 2025, five terrain parks and a beginners' area with three conveyors. Rental bundles can be picked up on the mountain, in Wanaka or in Queenstown, and the Wanaka Ski Bus and free shuttles from The Pines carpark run up the road.

In summer Cardrona opens its lift-served bike park, with bike rental, mountain carting and sightseeing rides.
