About Cetina Tours
Cetina Tours is a family-run rafting operator that has been guiding trips on the Cetina River for over ten years. Run by the Mišerda family from their base in Gornji Dolac near Omiš, they offer an authentically local experience that begins with a warm welcome, drinks, and snacks at their meeting point before heading to the river. It's a personal touch that larger commercial operations rarely match.
Their main tour is a canoe-style rafting adventure covering 10 kilometres of the Cetina River, starting at the historic Cikotina Ladja bridge and finishing near the village of Blato na Cetini. The three-hour trip passes through the stunning limestone canyon with stops for swimming in natural pools, photo opportunities at waterfalls, and a riverside picnic with local food. All equipment is provided — rafts, paddles, life jackets, wetsuits, and waterproof bags. Transfer from Split is included in the package.
Cetina Tours' appeal lies in the family hospitality and the unhurried pace. Unlike larger operators running back-to-back tours with big groups, the Mišerda family keeps things intimate and relaxed. The riverside picnic features homemade food, the guides share stories about the canyon's history, and there's no rush to get back. For travellers who want a genuine Dalmatian experience rather than a production-line tour, Cetina Tours delivers something money can't usually buy — authenticity.
