About Charleston Aqua Park
Charleston Aqua Park is a floating obstacle course and cable watersports facility on Trophy Lakes in Johns Island, just a short drive from downtown Charleston. The park opened in 2019 and quickly became one of the area's most popular warm-weather attractions, offering a completely different experience from the ocean-based watersports that dominate the region.
The centrepiece is a massive inflatable aqua park on the lake — think Ninja Warrior on water — with trampolines, climbing walls, slides, and balance beams that challenge visitors of all ages. Alongside the inflatables, the park operates a cable wakeboarding system for beginners through advanced riders, plus a ropes course with an overhead zipline. The landlocked freshwater lake means no currents, no salt, and no alligators.
Charleston Aqua Park stands out for being a family-friendly, all-ages alternative to beach and creek-based activities. The cable wake system is especially appealing for riders who want to learn without the expense of a tow boat, and the inflatable course is pure fun for kids and adults alike.
