About Clayoquot Wilderness Lodge
Clayoquot Wilderness Lodge is a luxury safari-style resort set on 600 acres of pristine wilderness in the Bedwell River Valley, accessible only by floatplane or boat from Tofino. Awarded Three MICHELIN Keys and consistently ranked among Canada's top wilderness lodges, the property offers 25 luxury canvas tents along the banks of Clayoquot Sound with gourmet dining, a spa, and an all-inclusive adventure programme.
The activity roster is extensive — guests choose from guided horseback riding through old-growth forest, helicopter flightseeing over glaciers and alpine meadows, heli-hiking to remote ridgelines, canyoning in moss-draped gorges, kayaking sheltered inlets, wildlife cruises for bears and whales, and fly fishing on the Bedwell and Moyeha Rivers. All activities are guided by experienced wilderness professionals and included in the nightly rate.
For visitors who want Tofino's wild setting paired with five-star service, Clayoquot Wilderness Lodge is in a class of its own. The combination of genuine backcountry access — no roads, no cell service — with Relais and Chateaux-level hospitality creates an experience that few lodges in British Columbia can match. The 2026 season runs May through September.
