Copper Cayuse Outfitters is a horseback riding outfitter based on a working ranch in Pemberton, just 30 minutes north of Whistler. Set against the dramatic backdrop of the Pemberton Meadows with towering Coast Mountain peaks in every direction, their ranch offers one of the most scenic horseback riding experiences in all of British Columbia.
Their ride options range from one-hour introductory trail rides for beginners to half-day and full-day backcountry expeditions for experienced riders, plus overnight pack trips deep into the wilderness. Hourly rides depart from the ranch on Pemberton Meadows Road, while multi-day adventures start from the Copper Cayuse trailhead on the Birkenhead Forest Service Road. All rides are guided by experienced wranglers, and their horses are well-trained, calm, and suited to riders of all levels. No prior riding experience is needed for the shorter tours.
