Crab Creek Charters is a family-owned private boat charter company operating from the Chimney Creek docks beside the famous Crab Shack on Tybee Island. Led by Captain Seth Solomon, who brings more than twenty years of local boating experience, the company specializes in small-group trips capped at six adults, so every charter is private to your party.
Their tour lineup covers the full range of coastal Georgia experiences: four-hour Little Tybee Island beach excursions, ninety-minute dolphin tours at sunrise or sunset, two-hour sunset cruises, oyster farm tours, and full-day trips to Daufuskie Island. Guests are welcome to bring their own food and drinks, dogs and children ride free of hassle, and all fees and taxes are built into the listed price. Weather cancellations are refunded in full.
The private-boat format is the real differentiator. Instead of sharing a bench on a forty-passenger tour boat, guests get a captain who tailors the route to the day's tides, wildlife, and the group's interests — lingering with a dolphin pod, beaching on an empty sandbar, or timing the return for golden-hour light over the marsh.
