About Dolphin Watch Cruises
Dolphin Watch Cruises has been operating in Jervis Bay for over 30 years, making it one of the longest-running marine wildlife tour operators on the NSW South Coast. Based at 58 Owen Street in Huskisson, the company runs daily dolphin cruises year-round and whale watching voyages during the humpback migration season from May through November.
The signature dolphin cruise is a 90-minute voyage through the calm, sheltered waters of Jervis Bay, where the resident pod of over 100 bottlenose dolphins frequently bow-rides alongside the boat. During whale season, longer expeditions head to the bay's deeper waters where humpbacks rest and teach their calves to breach. All trips feature live naturalist commentary from experienced guides who share insights on marine ecology and animal behaviour.
Dolphin Watch Cruises has earned over 30 local and state tourism awards for responsible and sustainable wildlife watching. Their commitment to ethical encounters — maintaining safe distances and letting animals approach on their own terms — has set the standard for marine tourism in the region and earned them a loyal following among repeat visitors and first-timers alike.
