About Durango Adventures and Zipline Tours
Durango Adventures and Zipline Tours is a year-round adventure park located just one mile west of downtown Durango on Highway 160. The facility features 12 ziplines built on massive timber towers perched high among Ponderosa Pines, offering sweeping views of the La Plata Mountains and surrounding San Juan National Forest. Open daily from 8am to 8pm, the park caters to thrill-seekers of all ages with a range of aerial and ground-based activities.
The signature zipline tour takes approximately 2.5 to 3 hours and includes a scenic 15-minute uphill hike, a rope bridge crossing, and a choice between landing on a rooftop patio or jumping off the 45-foot adventure tower. Riders between 40 and 230 pounds are accommodated. Beyond ziplining, the park offers ATV and UTV off-road rentals, axe throwing, and climbing elements on the multi-story tower. Combo packages bundle zipline and rafting experiences at a discount.
What sets Durango Adventures apart is the ability to operate rain, snow, or shine — making it one of the few Durango attractions open in all four seasons. Their guides are known for high-energy entertainment that keeps groups laughing between lines, and the variety of activities under one roof means families can spend an entire day without running out of things to do.
